Special Events

The Middle School Bash takes place near the beginning of the school year to build community amongst the 7^th and 8^th grade students. Students who sign-up to participate will have an interactive, fun-filled afternoon/evening at a local attraction.

The Middle School Retreats take place near the beginning of the school year and students that participate will attend an overnight trip at a Christian campground in Florida. These retreats provide wonderful opportunities for students to build positive relationships with one another and with their teachers while encouraging spiritual growth.

Existing as perhaps one of the most impactful events in student life at TKA, the senior retreat is an awesome opportunity for our community to bond, grow, and have fun.

In the Spring of Senior year, students leave campus for a special luncheon. Senior boys and their Fathers head out for a BBQ. Senior ladies and their Moms enjoy a special time together. It is a treasured TKA event.

The King’s Academy Junior Senior Formal takes place in May. The Junior Class officers plan an incredible evening at a country club which includes dinner and dancing. Students may bring a guest who does not attend TKA after filling out a guest registration form. Tickets for this event may be purchased during lunch or in the Student Life office.

The songs that move you. The faith that lifts you. It all comes alive in one weekend – Rock the Universe, where the biggest names in Christian rock take the stage at Universal Studios theme park.

From two stages throughout the park – including the brand new Music Plaza – your favorite bands play into the night. Between sets, you get to enjoy the action-packed thrills of the number one movie and TV based theme park in the world, including the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit roller coaster, Transformers: The Ride – 3D and Revenge of the Mummy.
