O'Keeffe Pre-Law Studies
The O’Keeffe Pre-Law Studies Distinction prepares students for a future in law through a focused series of electives in legal literacy, research, writing, and public speaking. Courses are taught from a Christian perspective and grounded in constitutional rights and freedoms.

Experience
Every Pre-Law course goes beyond the textbook. Each class includes a field trip, a service component, and guest speakers from the legal profession, giving students direct, recurring exposure to the law in action.
Students are paired with mentors in the legal field and have interned with law firms, the Office of the State Attorney, the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit, and Palm Beach Youth Court.
Competitions & Traditions
Pre-Law students compete on Mock Trial Teams at Harvard Seminars and the Empire Mock Trial competition, and may participate in the Moot Court Team and Florida Law Honor Society. TKA traditions, including the Pre-Law Speaker Series, First Monday, and Explore Mock Trial, round out the experience.

TKA's youngest learners get a taste of the courtroom too through collaboration with the O'Keeffe Pre-Law Studies program of distinction. Elementary Explore students are invited to take part in a Mock Trial experience, making for a fun, memorable introduction to legal thinking for the whole school community.
