TKA’s Competition Cheerleaders Won the 2019 FHSAA State Championships, Earning 6th State Title

(West Palm Beach, FL) – On Thursday, January 31, The King’s Academy Competition Cheerleading team took first place in the FHSAA State Championships held at the University of Florida. The championship marked their 6th Competition Cheer state title.

TKA’s Cheerleaders received a 90.4, the school’s highest score in 12 years, and earned their first-ever undefeated season.

“Only 3 teams of the 96 teams represented earned points scored in the “A” range in the entire FHSAA State Finals, and that was a huge honor,” said Head Coach Jenn Allen. “We work hard to perform as one team each and every season, and that’s the heart of the TKA Cheer program.”

This is one of the most recent decorated teams of King’s, with 3 FHSAA Regional titles (2017-19), 6 State titles (2010-14, 2019), and 7 FCC National Titles (2002-04, 2014, 2017-19)! This spring, the team will receive their 8th Championship Ring.
