TKA Announces Tyler Hamilton as Director of Athletic Training
Hamilton completed his undergraduate athletic training education at Cal State Fullerton in 2000. Following his work in the athletic training field and the fitness industry, he completed his graduate study at University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2006. At UNCG, he worked as an athletic trainer with the women’s soccer team, the men’s and women’s tennis teams, and the softball team. He also completed research in the Applied Neuromechanics Research Laboratory. From 2006 to 2016, he was Director of the Athletic Training Program at Palm Beach Atlantic University. He is certified to practice athletic training by the Board of Certification and licensed by the Florida Department of Health. Hamilton is a member of the Committee on Professional Ethics for the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, and served on the Board of Representatives for the Athletic Trainers’ Association of Florida.
