Third Grade Entrepreneurs

Third grade students held a Consumer Fair yesterday as part of their unit study on Economics. Each student marketed a product or a service in price increments of $1.00 up to $5.00. TKA students, faculty, and staff had fun shopping with “B-Bucks” earned by good behavior. This fun hands-on learning experience taught the students about supply and demand, how to make a profit by subtracting expenses from total sales, budgets, and business plans. They learned to plan their work by working out a plan!
