The King’s Academy Students Honor Grandparents
(West Palm Beach, FL) – On November 9th, The King’s Academy (TKA) welcomed more than 1000 grandparents and guests on their campus. Grandparents were treated to a special program with a patriotic theme in recognition of Veteran’s Day performed by JK through 12th grade students.
They also enjoyed a continental breakfast, classroom visits, and commemorative photos with their grandchildren. Guests truly enjoyed themselves as students demonstrated how much they appreciate TKA’s grandparents and are thankful for the sacrifices made by our nation’s veterans.
TKA Grandparents and supporters Annie and Jimmy Erneston shared a special message with fellow grandparents by listing the top 10 reasons they love TKA. The Ernestons shared their passion for the school and encouraged others to invest in the next generation. They explained, “After 48 years of being involved with TKA, we remain enthusiastic supporters. As The King’s Academy celebrates its 50th Anniversary in the coming school year, it is a priority for us to continue to support the school as they fulfill their mission for the next 50 years.”
“The King’s Academy sets aside a special day to honor our grandparents because they play such a tremendous role in the lives of our students. The memories they create with their grandchildren last a lifetime. It is such a blessing to interact with our students’ Grandparents and welcome them to our campus,” said Rosario Larson, Director of Development.
