Sixth Grade Graduates
Donning cap and gown, 74 TKA sixth grade students celebrated the culmination of elementary school during a moving graduation ceremony yesterday. This milestone was highlighted with a performance by King’s Kids followed by Delaney Austin sharing her patriotic essay and Kirsten Tenore reciting her Wax Museum biography of Dolly Madison. Guest speaker and TKA Yearbook Advisor Teresa Blakeney challenged students to look at the foundation they are building their lives on. She encouraged them to build their lives on Christ, the only firm foundation. Students were excited to walk across stage to receive their diplomas from Principal Kevin Krieger, and TKA Chaplain Jon Otto closed in prayer. It was a moving send-off for students into secondary school. Click here to see more photos.
