The Athletic Department hosted the Winter Varsity Sports Awards on Monday night. Varsity athletes in the sports of basketball cheerleading, girls and boys basketball, soccer, and competition cheerleading were recognized. Last night under the bright lights, the varsity softball team defeated Somerset Canyon Cougars 16-1. Freshman Jordan Winters pitched a stellar game, striking out six and giving up one run. The team advances to a 2-3 home record. Their next game will be on Tuesday at American Heritage.
Wednesday, March 2nd was Dr. Seuss’s birthday and what better way for TKA elementary students to celebrate than to dress up as their favorite Dr. Seuss character and read? Dr. Seuss would be 112 this year, and while he is no longer with us, his legacy lives on in the pages of his books.

The King’s Academy Clewiston held their Senior Luncheon last week at the McDuffie home. It was a great time of fellowship and reminiscing. Mr. Shaw, TKA main campus math teacher, delivered a challenge to the seniors to remember that they are truly better and stronger together.
