The King’s Academy recently announced their 2014 Homecoming Court.  After the ballots were cast and counted, the top eight girls and eight boys were selected. The Homecoming King and Queen will be announced at TKA’s Homecoming Game on October 17th at 7:00 PM at Kahlert Stadium.  Congratulations to these TKA seniors!

Sara Basore is the daughter of Michael and Tammy Basore of West Palm Beach.  She has attended The King’s Academy for five years and has been a member of the Varsity Competition Cheer Team for 4 years earning four consecutive FHSAA State Titles and one FCC National Title. She has been a member of the Varsity Football Cheer Team for five years.

Payton Campbell is the daughter of Les and Kay Campbell of Lake Worth. She has attended The King’s Academy for seven years. She has been involved in Varsity Cross Country and Varsity Track and Field for 4 years, Math National Honor Society (Vice President), and English National Honor Society.  She is currently serving an Athletic Prefect.

Naomi Cortez is the daughter of Captain Juan Carlos and Magalys Cortez of West Palm Beach. She has attended The King’s Academy for five years. She has been involved in Varsity Volleyball and Softball, Key Club, TKA Ambassador, Student Council and Future Business Leaders of America.  She has participated in mission trips to Costa Rica and Puerto Rico.

Brittany Leckrone is the daughter of Todd and Leslie Leckrone of Atlantis.  She has attended The King’s Academy for thirteen years.  She has been involved in His People Honors Choir, Advanced Dance, a principal dancer in Performing Arts productions of Beauty and the Beast, Les Miserables, Seussical the Musical, Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Phantom of the Opera. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Tri-M Math Honor Society, TKA Ambassador, and Key Club. She is currently serving as Unity Prefect.

Brittany McMahon is the daughter of Sheila McMahon of Royal Palm Beach. She has attended The King’s Academy for three years.  She is the Senior Class President and has been involved in Key Club, Future Business Leaders of America, TKA Ambassador, Varsity Bowling, and Varsity Cheerleading.

Hannah O’Connor is the daughter of Brian and Connie O’Connor of Boynton Beach.  She has attended The King’s Academy for eight years.  She has been involved in Varsity Volleyball, National Honor Society, National English Honor Society (President this year), National Spanish Honor Society, TKA Ambassador, Key Club, and Student Council.

Cheyenne Schaefer is the daughter of Robert and Tara Schaefer of Loxahatchee.  She has attended The King’s Academy for fourteen years.  She has been involved in National Honor Society, TKA Ambassadors (Ambassador Chair 2 years), Student Council, Key Club, Future Business Leaders of America, Varsity Bowling, and principal dancer in the Performing Arts productions of Beauty and the Beast, Les Miserables, and Hunchback of Notre Dame.

McKenzie Shorey is the daughter of Todd and Leslie Shorey of Palm Beach Gardens.  She has attended The King’s Academy for fourteen years.  She is involved in His People Honors Choir, Future Business Leaders of America, and Varsity Cheerleading.

Cortland Brigham is the son of George and Kerri Brigham of West Palm Beach.  He has attended The King’s Academy for twelve years.  He has been involved in Student Council (President 4 years), Varsity Lacrosse, Varsity Soccer (Captain this year), Varsity Swim Team (Captain 2 years), National Honor Society, National Science Honor Society, National English Honor Society, Tri-M Math Honor Society, Key Club, and TKA Ambassador. He is a member of His People Honors Choir, played “Cat in the Hat” in the musical production of Seussical, performed in musical productions of Les Miserables, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Phantom of the Opera and is currently serving as the Student Life Prefect.

Trae Dunn III is the son of Lowell Dunn II and Joella Dunn of Delray Beach.  He has attended The King’s Academy for four years.  He has been involved in National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America, Varsity Lacrosse, Varsity Track & Field, Key Club, His People Honors Choir, and has performed various roles in the Performing Arts productions of My Fair Lady, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Phantom of the Opera, and The Sound of Music.

Carson Fogleman is the son of Jimmy and Kelli Fogleman of West Palm Beach.  He has attended The King’s Academy for thirteen years. He has been involved in Varsity and Junior Varsity Soccer and Key Club.

Seth Gatchell is the son of David and Jaimie Gatchell of Loxahatchee.  He has attended The King’s Academy for fourteen years. He has been involved in Varsity Lacrosse and JV Football.

Bryson Mills is the son of James and Krista Mills of Royal Palm Beach.  He has attended The King’s Academy for four years. He has been involved in Varsity football (Captain 2 years), Varsity Basketball, Key Club and is currently serving as the Athletic Prefect.

James Ross is the son of Kevin and Jackie Ross of Jupiter.  He has attended The King’s Academy for three years.  He has been involved in Varsity Basketball, Key Club, TKA Ambassador, Future Business Leaders of America and currently serving as the Unity Prefect.

Andrew Titus is the son of Ray and Andrea Titus of West Palm Beach.  He has attended The King’s Academy for fourteen years.  He has been involved in Varsity Basketball (Captain 2 years), Future Business Leaders of America, TKA Ambassador (Chair 2 years), Student Council, His People Honors Choir, and held various leading roles in Performing Arts productions for the past nine shows.  He is currently serving as the Spiritual Life Prefect.

Brandon Tourigny is the son of Carl and Denise Tourigny of Loxahatchee.  He has attended The King’s Academy for five years.  He has been involved in National Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society, Key Club, Varsity Cross Country, and is currently serving as the Spiritual Life Prefect.
