Student Life
Living Life Together
High school is about so much more than what happens in the classroom. At TKA, students find their people, discover their purpose, and make memories that last a lifetime - all within a community that puts Christ at the center of everything.
Travel
Travel is an integral part of the experience at The King’s Academy, offering students domestic and international opportunities to explore new cultures, bring history to life, and build meaningful relationships with their peers.
Mission Trips

Mission Trips
Through a partnership with Hope Project International, TKA students serve internationally by helping construct homes for families in need while experiencing God’s work firsthand in communities around the world. This life-changing trip is a favorite among students and consistently reaches capacity each year.

Student Leadership University

Student Leadership University
At The King’s Academy, students have the opportunity to participate in Student Leadership University (SLU), a three-tiered leadership experience designed to develop Christ-centered leaders who are equipped to influence the world around them. Through immersive travel, powerful teaching, and hands-on experiences, students grow in their understanding of leadership, purpose, and their role in God’s plan.
Study Abroad

Study Abroad
Students who have completed Spanish II have the incredible opportunity to spend two weeks studying at the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca in Salamanca - immersing themselves in the language, culture, and rich history of one of Spain’s most beautiful cities.
It’s more than a trip - it’s a life-changing experience that brings language learning to life.
Extracurricular Trips: Spotlight on TKA Jazz
Students across multiple disciplines within the Smith Family Conservatory for the Arts have the opportunity to participate extracurricular trips to exciting destinations across the United States, providing meaningful real-world performance and learning experiences. Last year, TKA’s Jazz Ensemble traveled to Washington, D.C., where they had the incredible honor of performing at the White House.
