At the Heart

Spiritual growth is our highest aim at The King's Academy. We exist to see every student come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior and walk with Him by faith — through worship, community, mission, and service that shape them into servant leaders for life.

Chapel

Each week, students gather for chapel to worship in song and hear an encouraging message from God's Word. This time allows them to step outside the classroom and engage with panel discussions, sermons, and Q&A sessions. Guest speakers range from well-known pastors, athletes, and artists to local pastors and TKA teachers, creating a meaningful time to both receive and respond in worship.

Missions TripS

In partnership with Hope Project International, TKA students have the opportunity to participate in multiple mission trips abroad, building homes for families in need. These life-changing experiences allow students to join God's work around the world while growing in faith and compassion. Each trip is meaningful, enriching, and fills within minutes of opening!

Spiritual Emphasis

TKA's Spiritual Emphasis Week offers students multiple opportunities to grow in their faith and experience Christ's love. The week includes morning worship, lunch-time Bible studies, a local church fair, and two chapel days featuring nationally known speakers. It concludes with students serving the community through local service projects that extend the love of Christ.

Night of Worship

Everyone is invited to join us for our fall and spring Family Nights of Worship. Bring the whole family for a great time of fellowship and worship led by our very own TKA praise team!

See You at the Pole

See You at the Pole is a global, student-led prayer event held annually on the fourth Wednesday of September. It began in 1990 with ten students praying at their school and has since grown to include millions worldwide. Our TKA family has joined this mission by gathering at our flagpole before classes to worship and pray for friends, families, teachers, schools, and nations.

Advisory

The advisory program at TKA seeks to further our school's mission to touch the hearts of students as we develop Christian leaders. It allows every secondary student to build a mentoring relationship with a TKA staff or faculty member for spiritual growth. In these groups, students encourage one another, share their thoughts, and grow together in faith and community.

National Day of Prayer

Each May, The King's Academy participates in the National Day of Prayer, providing opportunities for the school community to come together in prayer. The day begins with a time of worship and prayer before school, followed by a campus-wide prayer walk led by faculty, staff, and students.

Group 3:16

Every other week, students can join a student-led Bible study called Group 3:16, which began with a small group of students and continues to grow each year. Divided by grade level, students study material relevant to their stage of life and hear devotionals from teachers, peers, and local pastors. It's a meaningful opportunity for fellowship, prayer, and spiritual growth with friends.

3:16 Mentoring

Mentorship and discipleship are at the heart of TKA's mission. The "3:16 Mentoring" program connects senior Prefect leaders with 6th-8th grade students to build meaningful relationships. Meeting twice per quarter during lunch, Prefects lead discussions that encourage, guide, and support younger students in their faith and personal growth.

Parent Workshops

In an effort to support TKA's mission to partner with the home and church in training our students in the faith, the Spiritual Life Office offers a series of workshops for parents of TKA students. These sessions provide practical tools and resources to help navigate the challenges of parenting in today's culture. Led by trained professionals, the workshops aim to equip, support, and encourage parents in their vital role at home.
