Spiritual Life

At The King's Academy, faith isn't a subject - it's a foundation. Our elementary faculty is committed to nurturing each child's spiritual growth in a loving, Christ-centered environment where students learn who God is, discover His love for them, and begin to build a personal relationship with Him.

The Easter Story

TKA Loves Jesus

Memory Verse

Chapel

Elementary students attend chapel each Wednesday, with a designated time for praise and worship, scriptural teachings, and prayer. Parents are invited to join in this time of fellowship and can sit with their student(s).

Titus 2 Groups

Once a month, fifth-grade girls and boys meet with high school mentors and school leaders as they work through a book on making good choices. This student-led mentorship program allows boys and girls to connect with upperclassmen leaders and hear from their more experienced peers.

Spiritual Emphasis Days

Twice each year, we set aside three days for focused time devoted to diving deeper into who God is and how to live out a life of Christian faith. It’s one of the most memorable times of the school year.

Special Assemblies

In addition to the weekly chapel services, there are times throughout the year when we hold special assemblies. All are designed to foster a love for God and people.

TKA Elementary Serves

Operation Christmas Child

Each year, the Elementary School partners with Samaritan’s Purse to fill shoeboxes with the Operation Christmas Child ministry. Each shoebox is packed full of toys, school supplies, clothing, and hygiene items and is given to a child around the world who may not otherwise receive a Christmas present. Each shoebox also represents an opportunity for a child to hear the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Baby Bottle Boomerang

In partnership with First Care Women’s Clinic, Elementary students fill baby bottles with coins, cash, and/or checks. This incredible organization "empowers women facing crisis pregnancies to choose life for their unborn children while sharing the love and good news of Jesus Christ."

Gleaning

Students in the fourth and fifth grade PREP classes have the privilege of partnering with CROS Ministries each year by gleaning in a local field. CROS has a produce recovery program that rescues fruits and vegetables that would otherwise go to waste. A portion of the recovered produce supports CROS Ministries’ food pantries and the Caring Kitchen program, while distribution partners help deliver the rest to local meal programs and pantries.

Refresh & Recharge

Refresh for Moms

A morning just for moms - enjoy coffee, build friendships with other TKA moms, and hear from an encouraging guest speaker. Come as you are. Leave refreshed.

Recharge for dads

Connect with other TKA Dads and hear from a guest speaker with a message built for the road you’re on. Because great dads don’t do it alone. Come as you are. Leave recharged.

Parent Workshops

We believe the home is the most powerful classroom. Throughout the year, TKA hosts workshops that equip parents with practical tools and biblical wisdom as we partner together to raise up the next generation to know and love Jesus.
