Elementary PE serves kindergarten through fifth grade students by building foundational movement skills in a fun, safe environment where they can play, compete, and stay active. Through participation, students develop confidence, lifelong healthy habits, and Christ-like sportsmanship marked by fairness and respect.

STEM

The Engineering Design Process, through Project Lead the Way’s Launch program, challenges students to solve real-world problems through collaboration, creativity, and hands-on learning connected to science concepts. From building simple machines and robots to designing inventive tools and devices, students grow in curiosity, confidence, and a lasting interest in STEM.

Visual Arts

The Elementary Visual Arts Program nurtures creativity, confidence, and critical thinking through hands-on experiences with a variety of artistic mediums and techniques. In a studio environment that encourages self-expression and innovation, students explore the creative process and discover how art reflects both their emotions and their identity as image-bearers of God.

Technology

The Elementary Technology Program equips first through fifth grade students with foundational computer science skills through engaging, age-appropriate lessons. Students explore topics like problem-solving, algorithms, digital safety, and programming basics, building confidence to use technology effectively and responsibly.

Music

Music

Elementary Music for kindergarten through third grade, engages students in active music-making as they explore steady beat, rhythm, and melody through singing, movement, and instruments. Through performances and hands-on experiences—including learning recorder and reading music—students build confidence, creativity, and a strong foundation for a lifelong love of music.

Spanish

Spanish

The King’s Academy provides weekly Spanish instruction, immersing students in language and culture through engaging activities and virtual experiences. By integrating Spanish across subjects and emphasizing grammar, pronunciation, and cultural appreciation, students are inspired to grow in both language skills and global awareness in a Christ-centered environment.

Library

Students in kindergarten through fifth grade visit the library weekly for engaging, interactive lessons that introduce new books, authors, and a love for reading. Through hands-on activities and technology, students develop creativity, problem-solving skills, and the ability to explore and create while checking out books each week.

Explore

Explore

The Explore Program provides students with 90 minutes of weekly academic enrichment, adding depth and complexity to the regular classroom curriculum through project-based learning and independent study based on student interests and abilities. In a collaborative environment with academic peers and guidance from a learning specialist, students develop critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills while exploring meaningful, real-world projects.

The Smith Family Conservatory of the Arts

The King’s Academy's  Jr. Conservatory Program introduces fourth and fifth grade students to the performing arts through engaging instruction in music, theater, and creative expression. Students build confidence, develop foundational skills, and discover their God-given talents in a supportive, Christ-centered environment.
