~Note to Returning Parents of The King's Academy

If you completed an online FAST application last year, use your email address and existing password. If you have forgotten your password, click on “Forgot my password”. You only need to complete one FAST even if you have several children applying to the school.
~Note to Divorced Parents of The King's Academy

In case of divorce, each parent /household must complete one FAST and send in all required documents. The Financial Assistance Committee will consider the resources of both natural parents. If the custodial parent has remarried, we consider the resources of the stepparent, bearing in mind the obligation the stepparent has toward his or her own natural children. If the non-custodial parent is not involved in a student’s life, the custodial parent can submit a letter from a third party (clergy, lawyer, doctor, school official, social worker) that states this fact in lieu of the non-custodial parent submitting his or her financial information. Please contact the Business Office if you have any questions about this situation.

STEP TWO: Uploading Tax Information and
Additional Documents

Your financial assistance application also requires submission of your current tax return to FAST. You will be given instructions where to send your tax forms during the online application process. Once the completed online application and current year tax forms have been received by FAST, your information will be calculated and the recommended award made available to the school.

Award Notification

The King’s Academy will then make an award based on the availability of financial assistance funds. Financial need is determined by taking into account many factors including income, net worth, expenses and family size. Awards are given until all available funds have been exhausted. TKA has five (5) Award Notification dates: February 15, March 15, April 15, May 15 and June 15. Your award date will be based on the date TKA receives your assessment report back from FAST and will follow the TKA Award Notification schedule below.
