Our Philosophy
An essential component of a successful college preparatory education is the support given to students in the college planning process. Distinctively at The King’s Academy, college advising is seen through the eyes of helping students find their purpose as they pursue God’s will for their lives and reach their collegiate goals. An academically challenged, spiritually enriched, and well-guided TKA student will arrive at high school graduation proud of their achievements, ready to excel in college, and prepared for their future.
College Advising Curriculum at a Glance
Our 8th – 12th grade curriculum delivers a comprehensive, relevant, and goal-oriented approach. Although students do not submit their first college application until the fall of their senior year, what students do with their time throughout their entire high school career matters tremendously. TKA’s immense academic and extra-curricular offerings, alongside College Advising’s robust programming, provide students with a wide range of opportunities to present their most competitive college application and attain success.
