The Science National Honor Society for Secondary Schools (SNHS) welcomes all qualified secondary school students to participate in and to be recognized for scientific excellence.  The purpose of the SNHS is to encourage participation in and recognition of scientific and intellectual thought, to advance the students’ knowledge of classical and modern science, to communicate with the scientific community, to aid the civic community with its comprehension of science, and to encourage students to participate in community service and, in turn, encourage a dedication to the pursuit of scientific knowledge that benefits all mankind.

Our local chapter of the SNHS at The King’s Academy will also seek to integrate our understanding of science with a firm foundation of belief in God.  God reveals Himself through His creation and science is a way to understand that creation.
