Days of Homecoming
Monday – Mix n Match day with crazy hats, socks, ties and sunglasses (shop thrift stores for inexpensive “crazy” outfits that do not match)
Tuesday – Theme dress up day
Wednesday – Twin/Multiple Day (Be two, three, four or more of a kind with matching costumes or outfits)
Thursday – Color Day (Class shirt, shoes, ribbons & hats in your grade’s color)
Friday – Spirit Clothes (Support TKA-Go Lions!)

Guidelines for Dress
Shoes: Closed- toe shoes need to be worn at all times. No backless sandals or flip-flops allowed.
Shirts: All shirts must refrain from offensive words, images or ideas. No sleeveless, low-cut or tank tops allowed. No mid-riffs.
Shorts: Shorts may be worn every day. Shorts must be mid-thigh or longer. No soffies allowed. Leggings may be worn under mid-thigh shorts or skirts. No white pants allowed for young ladies.

Events of the Week
Monday evening - 6:30PM Powder Puff Game/Male Cheerleading competition/ Sink Presentations/Band Performance/BBQ *$1.00 entrance (All monies will support alumni Megan Fraga who is currently serving in Liberia with Partners Worldwide)
Tuesday – Final dress rehearsal for each class skit (see schedule). All props, costuming and music that you plan to have in your skit will be used on this day. Nothing may be added to the final presentation on Friday. Skits may be 15 minutes in length and need to be pre-recorded.
Classroom Doors – Each grade level will be decorating one of their sponsor’s doors to represent their Music Genre. Judges will be around Wednesday to judge. Please do not use supplies from the workroom.
Thursday – Presentation of the Homecoming King and Queen (see schedule)
Friday – Class Skit presentations, Almost Anything Goes (1/2 day of school) No classes on this day.
Best Dressed – Each morning at the beginning of the base period (excluding Wednesday and Friday) the best dressed for that day will be sent to the HS office for judging and awards.
Dollar Madness – Containers will be in the cafeteria Monday-Thursday where students may make donations. All monies will support alumnus Megan Fraga who is currently serving in Liberia with Partners Worldwide.

Homecoming Competition
There will be points awarded to each class for the following:
• Best dressed student (3 days)
• Classroom door
• Dollar Madness – in the café
• Class Skits
• Sinks
• Attendance at the Powder Puff Game
• Almost Anything Goes Competition
• Cheerleading (11th & 12th only)
• Powder Puff Game (11th & 12th only)
Judges will be looking at creativity, effort, class participation, presentation, & representation of the Music Genre.
All activities and competitions will be between the 7th & 8th grades, 9th & 10th grades, & the 11th & 12th grades. There will also be an overall competition going on at the same time.
PRIZE – The overall winner of Homecoming will receive a dress down day on November 3rd. This will include the sponsors!
