The King’s Academy Concert Band is made up of students from the 7th and 8th grades. These students have been playing their instruments from 1-3 years. These students meet daily during the school day and practice as an ensemble for approximately 45 minutes a day. Their developmental music is at the grade levels of 2-4. They perform a variety of styles of music from Marches to Overtures, Ballads to 20th Century music. The Band is very involved with the Florida Band Association Band competitions (i.e. MPA, solo/ensemble). Once a year, the band is challenged by a “special” competition of the Director’s choice. This year they will be attending MusicFest in Orlando, Florida.

The King’s Academy Concert Band has achieved many goals with Superior ratings. This fine band performs at the South County Fair and at various other Festivals.
