TKA held it’s Second Annual Boutique & Trunk Show on October 5th. With 52 vendors in attendance, the M. Nelson Loveland Sports and Fine Arts Center was transformed into a shopping experience rivaling Rodeo Drive, and more than 400 guests taking advantage of shopping the specialty and unique merchandise. Many guests took advantage of the shopping experience to get a jump start on their Christmas shopping. The event was a huge success, raising more than $16, 500 to benefit the school’s annual fund. TKA parents were joined by friends, students, alumni, faculty, staff, grandparents and community members for the highly anticipated, spectacular shopping event of the year. Pre-registered guests were delighted to receive a reusable shopping tote, compliments of Vera Bradley. They also enjoyed a complimentary breakfast provided by the school. A highlight of the event was the newly added Boutique Bake Shoppe that featured homemade treats baked by beloved TKA faculty, staff, and administrators, as well as talented and creative TKA parents. The scrumptious treats generated $1300. A special thanks to the amazing Boutique and Trunk Show committee led by TKA parents Teddy Walker, Denise Meers, Dana Wilkerson, Susan Gableman, and Julie Fiedor. Thanks also go out to the Graceffo family and InsuranceExpress.com for sponsoring the popular TKA Spirit Bands. All proceeds from the event benefits The King’s Academy Annual Fund.
